Artist’s Notes
The first thing that catches the eye is the large pentacle held in the light—almost as if a hand from the sky were saying, “Take this chance.” Behind it, the archway and the road carry us forward; the flowers and greens hint at possibility and abundance ahead.
While drawing, I tried to hold the thrill of a moment when something steps out of imagination and into touch. It’s quiet rather than dramatic, near rather than distant: a beginning you can grasp today.
